A server-side importer checks the SIExpo feed on a schedule and creates or updates content in your CMS. Draft review or direct publication is configured on your website.
The importer saves where it stopped, avoids duplicate articles and applies later corrections and withdrawal notices.
The feed uses HTTPS and JSON, so a website with a server-side API client can integrate it. The importer is adapted to the CMS version, article structure, categories and publishing workflow of the receiving site.
| System | Integration approach |
|---|---|
| WordPress ↗ | Server-side plugin or importer using the WordPress HTTP API, with mapping to posts, categories and images. |
| Drupal ↗ | A custom module or migration/import process using the HTTP client and mapping articles to the site’s content types. |
| Joomla ↗ | A server-side extension or importer using HTTP requests and the site’s article publishing interface. |
| Ghost ↗ | A server-side importer that receives the feed and creates or updates posts through Ghost’s Admin API. |
| Custom CMS / headless systems | A server-side connector in PHP, Python, Node.js, .NET or another environment that can make HTTPS requests and process JSON. |
These are integration options, not preinstalled SIExpo plugins. The receiving site needs a configured importer. The available Python example downloads articles and preserves its position; publication into a CMS is added for the specific system.
Articles can be republished under the agreed SIExpo licence. Keep the SIExpo attribution, original article link, cited sources and AI disclosures. The included covers are generated editorial illustrations. Rights in external source texts, photographs and embedded videos remain with their holders.
Your private key is kept on the receiving server. Access can be limited to authorised server IP addresses; language access, expiry and request limits are managed for each client.
Send us your website and CMS details to arrange access and integration.
