Amazon introduced Bee Frontier and Bee Eclipse on October 15, 2026, offering two ways for its personal AI assistant to receive conversational context. Frontier is a wearable, while Eclipse attaches magnetically to a phone. The company lists Frontier as available on Amazon.com for $74.99 and Eclipse as coming soon from $99.99. This does not confirm shipping or localized support for Bulgaria.

From conversation to retained context

Bee turns conversations into summaries and tasks. Amazon is adding connections to Alexa+ and Amazon.com. These should be understood as separate sharing choices rather than an unavoidable part of every retained summary. SIExpo has not tested the devices and does not independently confirm recognition accuracy or the usefulness of suggested actions in everyday use.

The Bee Private Compute description makes an important distinction. According to Amazon, audio is processed and discarded, while transcripts and extracted information remain protected with keys controlled by the device. Processing uses an isolated server environment and verification of trusted software. The absence of a stored audio file therefore does not mean the absence of retained information, nor does it mean computation happens entirely on the local device.

What a prospective user should evaluate

Our practical interpretation is that the entire path of an item of information matters. A person may agree to keep a private meeting summary without wanting the same content to participate in another service. The useful question is which integration receives what information and after which action. A general privacy assurance cannot replace understandable behavior at these connections or explain every sharing decision on its own.

For a limited pilot, we would use a harmless arrangement containing invented details. Checks would cover summary accuracy, correction of an error, deletion and disconnecting a linked service. These are proposed editorial checks, not additional Bee test results. A wrongly remembered date should be distinguishable from an actual commitment rather than quietly becoming the basis of later tasks or recommendations.

Buying hardware and using the service are separate decisions

The Bee Pro page lists basic summaries and 14-day history in the free plan. Pro is listed at $11.99 per month for expanded features and integrations, with a 30-day free period for new customers. These are announced terms for the market described, to be checked at purchase. We do not present them as a promised final price for a Bulgarian customer.

We recommend recording which features remain necessary after the trial. If a particular integration is the reason someone wants the product, the hardware price alone does not describe the intended use. Battery experience, wearing comfort and visibility of activation also need evaluation in the person's actual daily context instead of being inferred from demonstration images. Those observations would be part of a real product test, which we have not conducted.

Useful memory needs understandable boundaries

Ambient AI shifts attention from an individual request to context accumulated through a day. Our interpretation is that this makes clear memory controls as important as the quality of the underlying model. A good summary is useful when its owner can establish where it came from and correct inaccuracies. Keeping more context is not automatically the same as remembering the right information.

The new devices extend that direction, but their announcement does not establish that every conversation should be processed. Usefulness will depend on selecting appropriate situations, understandable controls and the service's actual behavior. Readers should distinguish the available Frontier, the forthcoming Eclipse and the company's description of its protections from an independent assessment of the product. That distinction supports an informed evaluation without assuming either success or failure before testing.
