Taiwanese company imCore presented Core Studio in Taipei on November 7, 2026, during the Taiwan Creative Content Fest. The platform brings together tasks ranging from story development to final image processing and is presented with more than 24 specialised AI agents. Its central proposition concerns production organisation: keeping scripts, shots, creative decisions and people connected while using different generative tools.

Variety reported on the event. The technical capabilities described here are the manufacturer's claims; SIExpo has not conducted its own platform test.

A virtual crew supporting professional roles

In an earlier introduction, imCore listed agents for casting, costume design and cinematography, together with the ability for users to expand the crew. The company describes a multi-agent system assisting specialists, rather than one model independently making a finished film. Agents assigned to professional tasks and models generating content are different parts of that arrangement.

Founder and CEO Charles Lee also founded visual-effects and animation studio TWR Entertainment. imCore's official company page connects the development effort with practical production experience. That background explains the professional emphasis, but does not itself establish the quality of automated results.

From a script to continuity across shots

Story Atlas is described as a system that breaks an imported script into scenes and shots and connects them with characters, sets, props, costumes and voices. Story information is intended to carry forward into subsequent tasks, rather than each shot starting as an isolated request without context.

A hypothetical example explains the practical issue: if a character changes clothes after a particular event, later scenes should reflect the change while earlier scenes retain the original appearance. This is an editorial illustration of the continuity problem, not a result from our testing. In a real production, the decisive questions would be whether the change travels reliably between tasks and whether a director can easily revise it.

What the promise of 16-bit colour means

Real Engine combines Real Video, Real HDR and Real Revive. The manufacturer positions these around image detail, colour processing and reconstruction of problematic bright areas respectively. The official LinkedIn introduction also lists 16-bit EXR input and output, a capability relevant to integration with professional post-production.

Bit depth describes how many values can represent colour information. Adobe's documentation explains that more bits provide more possible values. That is not equivalent to having more originally captured detail. Storing material in a higher-precision format does not demonstrate that information lost through overexposure has been faithfully recovered.

With generative reconstruction, a convincing texture may be newly computed content. Claims about repairing bright regions therefore need assessment against specific input and output frames. The editorial conclusion is that file format and image fidelity are separate criteria.

Traceability matters for the budget too

A Taiwan Post report carried by Yam News describes records of the model, prompt, parameters, costs and human review associated with generation. It also lists cloud collaboration, versioning and access management. These are claims about the production process, not an independently established guarantee of security or savings.

For a producer, such a record could help compare alternatives: which shot received approval, what changed and how much another generation costs. However, a technical log does not replace checking rights to scripts, likenesses, voices and supplied materials. Before uploading an unreleased project, a team needs to examine the terms governing storage, access and use of its data.

A presentation now, access according to the announced timetable

Taiwan Post reports a planned official opening on November 30. The November 7 demonstration should therefore not be interpreted as confirmed unrestricted access for every customer that same day. The official pages offer requests for demonstrations and early access.

The reviewed materials did not establish a sufficiently clear public pricing framework for comparing a professional project. SIExpo has not verified general promises of time savings either. A useful next test would be specific: one scene, several consecutive shots, actual directorial revisions and traceable spending through to the approved result. That exercise would show whether integration reduces rework instead of merely adding more tools to the process.
