Nanbeige4.3-33B now has public, ungated weights on Hugging Face under Apache 2.0. Repository metadata records creation on 24 October 2026; that dates the resource, rather than independently establishing the exact time of its first announcement. The model card describes a dense 33-billion-parameter reasoning and agent model with context up to 524,288 tokens. Its published quality comparisons are the team's own evaluations.
Open weights make a particular deployment inspectable
The practical opportunity is control over the version being evaluated. A team can retain the model revision, its configuration and its own task set. This does not make every number in the public comparison table an expected result for that team's product. A useful comparison must preserve the way tasks are presented and the tools available, rather than treating the model name as a complete experimental specification.
NVIDIA's NeMo AutoModel documentation identifies the architecture as Llama and describes loading through a native implementation without remote code. This is Nightly development documentation. Its training measurements are not held-out quality assessments and do not determine inference speed on an arbitrary machine. They provide implementation context rather than an independent ranking of the model's capabilities.
Context capacity is not a guarantee of correct recall
A large advertised window provides room for a long history. It does not establish that every important condition will be interpreted correctly. A coding assistant might still have an old requirement in its conversation after that requirement has been withdrawn. The useful outcome depends on understanding the revision, not merely fitting both versions into the available space.
Our proposed evaluation would use a short sequence with controlled corrections. A requirement is introduced, changed, and then tested through a request whose answer depends on the latest version. Short and long histories could be compared separately. This is an editorial test proposal, not an experiment performed by SIExpo. We have not installed the model or measured its behavior ourselves.
Calling a tool and authorizing an action are different checks
For agent use, a well-formed tool request must remain distinct from permission to execute it. Correct syntax does not establish that the destination is appropriate, the action is authorized or the underlying information is current. A cautious pilot would start with invented files and tools without external effects before considering access to working systems.
The deployment also needs measurements across the complete workflow: loading, memory used by the conversation, time to the first response and subsequent tool steps. Parameter count is not a serving plan. A quantized or otherwise compressed derivative needs its own assessment rather than automatically inheriting the quality claims made for the original weights.
The concrete development is another accessible resource for local evaluation of an agent model. Its usefulness will depend on reproducible performance on relevant tasks, clearly bounded permissions and observed operational costs. A developer's benchmark table can inform that investigation, but cannot replace it or establish universal reliability across applications.
